Coal roller screen is a kind of screening equipment used for mineral screening and grading. It has large bearing capacity, high speed and high efficiency, and can be widely used in coal, ore, limestone, aggregate and other industries and materials.

In the operation process of coal roller screen, the speed sensor plays a crucial role, which can accurately monitor the rotational speed of the roller, and provide key data support for the stable and efficient operation of the equipment.

The speed sensor is generally composed of a permanent magnet, an induction coil, a signal conditioning circuit and a housing. Permanent magnet can generate stable magnetic field, which provides basic conditions for induction process. Induction coil plays a key role in the magnetic field and is the core component of generating induction signal. The signal conditioning circuit is responsible for processing the original signal generated by the induction coil and converting it into a standard signal that is convenient for subsequent analysis and use. The housing protects the precision components inside, ensuring their normal operation in complex working environments.

When the coal roller screen is in motion, the roller drives the speed sensor. Due to the relative motion between the permanent magnet inside the speed sensor and the induction coil, according to the law of electromagnetic induction, the induction coil will cut the magnetic field line generated by the permanent magnet, which in turn generates the induced electromotive force within the coil. The size of this induced electromotive force is closely related to the speed of the roller, the faster the speed of the roller, the faster the induction coil cuts the magnetic field line, the greater the induced electromotive force generated, and vice versa. In simple terms, the induced electromotive force is proportional to the speed of the roller.

However, the induced electromotive force generated by the induction coil is usually very weak and mixed with various interference signals, which cannot be directly recognized and used by the control system of the coal roller screen. Therefore, the signal conditioning circuit is required to process it. The signal conditioning circuit first amplifies the induced electromotive force to enhance the strength of the signal for subsequent processing. Then, the noise and interference components in the signal are removed by filtering operation to make the signal more pure. Finally, the processed signals are converted into standard electrical signals, such as common voltage signals or current signals, which can be accurately read and analyzed by the control system of the coal roller screen.

The control system of the coal roller screen receives the standard signal from the speed sensor in real time, and analyzes and judges the signal according to the preset parameters and algorithms. If the speed of the roller is detected abnormal, such as the speed is too fast or too slow, the control system will immediately issue the corresponding instructions, take measures to adjust the motor speed, alarm prompt, etc., to ensure that the coal roller screen is always in a stable and efficient running state, to avoid equipment failure or affect the screening effect caused by the abnormal speed.
