Feeder Breaker for Indonesia EPC Project Packed and Ready for Ship
Introduce
The Indonesian client signed a coal mine EPC project with EXCT in February, responsible for the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and delivery of the entire crushing and screening plant. The equipment is currently being shipped in three batches, with all shipments expected to be completed in July. The client plans to complete the installation of the entire project in September.
The Feeder Breaker, soon to be shipped, is the core conveying equipment of the crushing and screening plant for this project. The EXCT project team designed it based on the site conditions and coal conveying volume requirements.
Parameters and Design
The Feeder Breaker used in this project is designed with a conveying speed of 0.04 to 0.49 m/s based on the bulk density of coal (0.8 t/m³), and a processing capacity of 1200 t/h, which fully meets the customer’s requirement of 1000 t/h.
The maximum feed size provided by the customer is 1000 mm, and the equipment’s pan width is 1400 mm, which meets the requirements for the largest feed particle size and will not cause problems such as feed blockage or scraper chain jamming.
Pre-screening
When communicating with customers, EXCT learned that some feed particle sizes already met the required dimensions. In order to reduce unnecessary over-crushing and improve the quality of the final product, based on this requirement, the conveying section of this Feeder Breaker was designed with three static pre-screening devices.
These devices can screen and separate qualified coal particles in advance and directly convey them to the next stage without having to send them to the crushing equipment for repeated crushing.
