Kazakhstan Customer Conducts Apron Feeder Inspection at EXCT Factory
Background
Our VPL customer is a major energy enterprise in Kazakhstan, mainly engaged in coal mining, processing, wholesale trading, and export business. In April this year, EXCT dispatched a professional technical team to Kazakhstan to visit the customer, inspect several project sites, and lay a solid foundation for future cooperation.
During this customer inspection, our technical and sales teams accompanied the entire process. According to the inspection standards agreed by both parties, the apron feeder’s overall assembly accuracy, key component materials, operating stability, and other core indicators were inspected and tested on site one by one.
Apron Feeder Technical Parameters
Model: BL1800×8m
Material name: Coal
Bulk density: 1 t/m³
Handling capacity: 1400 t/h
Apron Feeder No-load Operation Inspection
During the no-load operation test, the Apron Feeder shall be driven at low speed first to check whether there is any jamming or interference. After confirming normal operation, the equipment shall run at normal speed for 2–4 hours. If the operation is interrupted due to faults or adjustments, the operating time shall be recalculated. The following inspections and records shall be carried out:
- The reducer operates smoothly without abnormal impact or vibration.
- The chain and sprocket engage normally without deviation.
- The gaps between conveying pans are uniform without jamming or interference.
- The rollers rotate flexibly without abnormal noise.
- The bolt connections are reliable. In particular, the tenon bolts connecting the chain and conveying pan shall not have any looseness.
- The adjusting screw of the tensioning device rotates flexibly.
- There is no leakage at all lubrication points.
- The bearing temperature rise shall not exceed 35℃, the bearing temperature shall not exceed 65℃, and the temperature rise of the reducer shall not exceed 45℃.
- The average noise value during no-load operation shall be measured at a distance of 5mm from the Apron Feeder (average value of 8 measuring points), and shall not exceed 80dB.
- Record voltage, current, and power values.
Apron Feeder Overall Equipment Painting Requirements
(1) The painting scheme of the Apron Feeder shall be implemented according to the contract requirements. Different projects adopt different colors. Attention shall be paid to checking and comparing with the color card.
(2) Apron Feeder painting requirements: Measure and inspect the coating thickness and check the uniformity of the painted surface.
