The Mineral Sizer dispatched this time is a classification and crushing equipment specially developed by our company for crushing high-hardness ores. The entire machine integrates the core technologies accumulated by our company over many years in the field of mineral processing. From raw material procurement to finished product delivery, every piece of equipment undergoes a strict quality control process.

 

The core components of Mineral Sizer are made of high-strength alloy steel, and the key crushing tooth plates are made of special alloy materials with excellent wear resistance. Before the materials enter the factory, the quality inspection department will conduct chemical composition analysis, hardness testing and ultrasonic flaw detection on each batch of steel to ensure that the raw materials meet international standards.

 

The spindle system of the equipment has been precisely processed by a CNC lathe, and the tolerance of the bearing installation position is controlled at the micrometer level. The crushing roller adopts an integral forging process. After the entire machine is assembled, it undergoes sandblasting for rust removal and then is coated with three layers of protective paint to ensure the long-term anti-corrosion performance of the equipment in the open-pit mine environment.

 

As an efficient and energy-saving ore crushing equipment, Mineral Sizer has demonstrated significant application advantages in modern mining production.

High-efficiency crushing capacity

The working principle of the double-toothed roller rotating in opposite directions is to achieve material crushing by means of shearing and extrusion. Compared with traditional jaw crushers, Mineral Sizer has a larger crushing ratio and lower unit energy consumption. Its unique tooth shape design can effectively bite the ore and prevent slippage, with a processing capacity of hundreds of tons per hour. For wet and sticky materials, the automatic cleaning device equipped on the equipment can prevent tooth gap blockage and ensure continuous and stable production.

The product particle size is controllable

By precisely adjusting the gap between the two crushing rollers through the hydraulic system, the operator can easily achieve stepless adjustment of the product particle size. The intelligent control system equipped with the equipment can monitor the changes in roller clearance in real time, automatically compensate for the deviation caused by wear, and ensure that the output particle size always remains within the set range. This characteristic is particularly important for mineral processing processes that require strict particle size control.

Low noise and low dust

The crushing process of Mineral Sizer is relatively smooth, and the noise and vibration it generates are far lower than those of impact crushing equipment. The equipment is equipped with a fully enclosed casing and a negative pressure dust removal interface, effectively preventing dust from escaping and meeting the strict requirements of modern mines for environmentally friendly production. Meanwhile, the low vibration characteristic of the equipment during operation reduces the impact on the factory building foundation and lowers the cost of infrastructure investment.

Maintain convenient and economical

The modular design concept runs through every detail of the equipment. The crushing tooth plate adopts a quick-change structure, allowing a single person to complete the replacement operation, significantly reducing the downtime. The key bearing parts adopt a centralized lubrication system, and maintenance personnel only need to replenish the grease regularly. The main vulnerable parts of the equipment are all designed with wear indication marks, which facilitate timely prediction of replacement timing and prevent secondary damage caused by excessive wear.

 

The two Mineral Sizer units dispatched this time are the fifth and sixth ordered by the same customer. This repeated purchase behavior itself is the highest recognition of the quality of our company’s products and the level of service. Since the first cooperation, the customer has purchased a total of six Mineral Sizer units from our company for the ore crushing production lines of multiple mines.

 

In response to the characteristics of high hardness and high mud content of the ore in the customer’s mine, our technical team has carried out special optimization on the equipment: the diameter of the crushing roller has been increased to enhance the biting capacity, the tooth profile parameters have been adjusted to improve the self-cleaning effect, and the frame structure has been strengthened to cope with impact loads. These customized improvements have enabled the equipment to fully adapt to the actual working conditions of the customers, achieving the best return on investment.

 

After the equipment was produced, our company organized an 8-hour full-load operation test run, which was a comprehensive verification of the equipment’s performance.

During the trial operation, an infrared thermal imager was used to monitor the bearing temperature, a vibration analyzer was used to record the vibration spectrum at each measurement point, and a power quality analyzer was used to measure the power factor of the motor. During the trial operation period, all the operating parameters of the equipment remained within the designed range.

 

The successful delivery of the fifth and sixth Mineral Sizer units this time marks a new stage in the cooperation between our company and the customer.
