On April 8th, the Wobbler Feeder ordered by our customer for the copper mine was finally completed. This device is made of high-strength wear-resistant materials and can effectively deal with the impact and wear of large pieces of ore that may occur during the copper mining process.

Determination Of Technical Parameters
Principle Of Parameter Determination
Based on the demand information provided by the customer, the maximum feed particle size is 500mm, the particle size under the screen is less than 30mm, and the processing capacity is 400t/h. Combined with the actual working conditions of copper mining, the key parameters of the Wobbler Feeder, such as the number of screen shafts, rotational speed and installation inclination Angle, have been optimized and designed.
Screen Surface Width
Based on production experience and practice, it is determined that the width of the screen surface should be greater than three times the maximum particle size of the feed material. According to the production demand, if the screen surface width is too narrow, the residence time of the material on the screen surface will be too short, affecting the stratification effect. However, a width that is too wide will increase the difficulty of structural force-bearing and the weight of the equipment. Therefore, the width is determined to be 1500mm.
Number Of Screen Shafts
According to the formula calculation, 32 screen shafts are obtained. Considering the working condition load, the impact of 500mm large-particle feed on the screen shafts is extremely large. Each shaft must bear a relatively large moment. The 32 shafts can ensure that the force on each shaft is within a reasonable range. Moreover, copper mines usually have a certain degree of humidity and viscosity. The segmented design of 32 shafts can effectively prevent coal jamming and blockage.
